Privacy policy
Last updated October 23, 2026.
This policy explains what DeedScout Ohio collects and how it's used. DeedScout Ohio is a product of Ridgeline Apps LLC, Wheelersburg, Ohio (“we”, “us”). Questions: support@ridgelineapps.us.
What we collect
- Waitlist: your email address, your name if you give it, the product you picked, the county you picked, the date and time you joined, the page you joined from, any campaign tags in the link you followed (like utm_source), and the country your connection comes from (as reported by our hosting provider).
- Abuse protection: to stop spam we keep a one-way hash of your IP address for up to one hour. We don't store your IP address itself with your signup.
- Email you send us: whatever you choose to include.
- Orders (once ordering opens): your name, email, the parcel or address you ask about, and your notes. Payments will be handled by a payment processor; we won't see or store your full card number.
How we use it
- To email you when ordering opens for what you picked, and to decide which counties and products to build next.
- To answer your questions and deliver reports you order.
- To keep the site secure and working.
We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't use it for advertising profiles.
Where it's stored
The site and the waitlist run on Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages and Workers KV). Email to support@ridgelineapps.us is forwarded to our inbox by Cloudflare Email Routing. These providers process data for us under their own terms.
Cookies and tracking
This site doesn't set cookies, doesn't use advertising trackers, and doesn't load third-party scripts.
How long we keep it
Waitlist entries are kept until you ask us to remove them or until we no longer need them for the launch they're about. Spam-protection hashes expire after one hour.
Your choices
Email support@ridgelineapps.us to see, correct or delete your waitlist entry, or to stop hearing from us. Every email we send about the waitlist will tell you how to opt out.
Public records in reports
Reports compile information that county and federal offices publish as public records, which can include the owner of record shown by the county auditor. If you believe a public record shown on this site is wrong, contact the office that publishes it, and email us so we can review our copy.
Children
This site isn't meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new date.
